End Of It All

There’s only so much you can take
So many times before you’ll break
But when you do finally give in
All those around are left dumbfounded

The end of an end is where to begin
An end of love comes to an end
Just as easily as an end to an end of life
The circle completes once more

It’s not giving up in these times
Others don’t blink an eye
Its the actions you take
That remain most notable for life

The end of it all comes crashing down
With limited choices left to chose
Which way do you turn
Blazing glory or silently

I’ve reached the end of it all
On more than one night
In those days begone
More life left go than gained

Stresses of life, love, and guilt
All swirl around inside
Attacking every inch of being
Until it all breaks down

There is no point to a permanent ending
When upon you reach the end
Simply pick up another piece
And continue the journey onward

Is it the end of this life
Or just the next step of progression
For how will one ever know asking
Without turning the page to see

I’ll turn the page once more
And search carefully at what’s seen
The ending of one life
Gives way for a newer one.
