Glacial Flow

Arms wrapped ’round her neck
Small kiss upon his cheek
Is how he’s greeted each time
He picks his little girl up

She misses him like crazy
He swears he goes insane
Every time they’re apart
Its the consistency holds them

He stands in her life
Solid as ever could be
Slowly melts ‘cross time
Like the giant glaciers past

Man carved from stone
Frozen in a moment
Surrounded by his memories
Slowly trying to escape

Only she has the will
The determination to do it
Melt his heart from the ice
And break it free of stone
