Empty World
All above me far as I can see
Dark clouds spitting down on me
Arms stretched out embracing it all
Scream out to the heaves begging
Lucky lightening strike misses to the right
Deep primal roar let loose
Pure hatred rising from within
Alone I sit now staring blankly
Empty chair next to me so lonely
Surrounded by the dark driving
Lost in my own world some days trapped
However long it takes I shall wait
This chair to be filled by no other
Watch all those below run around
Never really sure of themselves
Fill my time exploring my mind
Write down all that I may find
Some day you’ll read it all
Maybe then you’ll understand
What it’s like to be trapped
Come experience my world
